Burgers were very good Service excellent Ambiance good for a pub Bathroom clean. Id definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood

In a town jammed with leaf peepers, we received the BEST greeting from Tracy at the bar when we arrived. She made us feel so welcome and valued (not always the norm duriing this busy season at most establishments). Big variety of ice cold beers and a killer Bloody Mary. (Pro tip: add a little barbecue sauce for a great smoky flavor) We enjoyed bar snacks & delicious flaflat bread, But they have a full menu. Pick your favorite tunes from the endless list at the jukebox and belly up or shoot a little pool. What a great surprise to find space at the bar instead of a huge wait at other locales. Try this one first!

We dropped in for dinner here when passing through this beautiful small town. The focus of the restaurant is the bar, but there is seating away from the bar. I think I saw a pool table as well. I ordered a house margarita and it was served in a mason jar and tasted like it had been hand made--not one of those ikky sweet mixes. We started our dinner with garlic cheese bread. It came out quickly and was really tasty--melted cheese on a split sub roll. The marinara that was served with it was great, too! Fresh and chunky! My husband ordered a flatbread pizza. He really enjoyed it, and it was so large that he brought nearly 1/2 of it home. I had the fried haddock. The breading was light and crispy while the fish was hot and flake and fresh. We had a great dinner, service was excellent, and we would recommend a stop-in for a casual dinner.

So lucky to find this place. When searching yelp, it was recommended as good for sandwiches, and it certainly was! The was a short wait when we arrived but we were able to get seated relatively quickly. We were seated at a high top and our server came pretty quickly. There was a section with low top tables but it was already pretty full. They also had a game room area with fooseball, pool and a few other games. They did have a number of different sandwich options which made it hard to choose! I decided on the Greenie, which was pesto and pine nuts. It was so good! My husband ordered the smash burger and was very pleased. Overall we lucked out and would definitely recommend.

Second or third time stopping here. We had the best wait staff. SmashBurger and Beer were very good. Had the FITFO and Mighty Squirrel. I recommend both! Thanks for a great afternoon.

This was my first time here. I wish I had posted this sooner so I could write down what we ordered. I unfortunately do not recall. However, the food was absolutely delicious. The food was perfect. My meal was amazing. The burger was delicious and I wore most of it which was great. My onion rings were awesome. I did steal some fries from my friends. They had some beer and I had a really good ginger ale. The staff was super friendly and funny. The overall atmosphere was great. There was a trivia game going on the TV so we got to play that while we were eating.

We live Merlands. Tracey is the best !!! Love the food. Great smash burgers. Great atmosphere.

If you're looking for a great burger, this is the spot! We were looking to get dinner away from the crowds and this is a nice little place. Service is always fantastic with friendly bartenders/wait staff. I ordered the Merland's original smash burger and the FITFO beer, my husband had the fried fish sandwich, both came with fries. Portions were big and very filling. Highly recommend for a quick sandwich and some drinks.

Great beer selection; nice waitstaff. We returned to grab a bite and to say goodbye to friends. The loaded tater tots were not as good as I remembered but filling nonetheless. A platter of these bad boys served 8 of us. I wish they had both more bacon and hllapinios. My fried haddock platter was very good- lightly breaded. Scotch and pumpkin head beer accompanied my food- no room for dessert. Merlands does not take reservations and tends to be crowded so consider going at off hours. Private parking lot behind the restaurant.

Food was awesome. I had the all meat flatbread and my wife had the hobo salad. Scarfed on both . Service was amazing, very attentive and nice as can be.
